Thursday 1.10.2015 was the best day. We saw Imari Kianto statue.
 We visited at the museum near Russian border.
There was funny. We also visited Winter War museum.
There were a lot of war articles, for example a tank.
At the end we went shoping. We ate candies.
We were at Taivalkoski 6 pm.

We started our trip at 8.00 am. and drove towards Suomussalmi.
We stopped at Jaloniemi for a coffee break and our guide Lasse With came to bus.
At first we saw Imari Kianto statue.
Then we drove to Kuivajärvi. There we met Jussi Huovinen, 91 year-old man. He is famous singer. He sang for us a poem and introduced traditional karelian house.
We saw the holy Nikolaos tsasouna and Domna house.
Then our direction was towards Raate road and the Winter War museum. There was also a house for a guard of our border.

Thursday 1.10.2015
On Thursday we started our trip to Suomussalmi. We had a break at Jaloniemi.
There we ate our packed lunch and saw Ilmari Kianto statue. Our guide LasseWith came to bus.
We visited Jussi Huovinen´s traditional house. Jussi is 91 years old. He is a poemsinger.
Then we went to Raate and Winter War museum. We visited borderguards house. We saw monuments and Winter War batlle places.
At Raate museum we ate lunch. We saw a videoshow of Winter War.
There were about 18 000 rocks (stones) at the Winter war monument. They symbolized the people who died in the war. And there were 105 bells. They symbolized the days of Winter War.
We also saw Hiljainen kansa -monument (Silent people) wen we were driving home.
